Semester 2 of the final year is daunting, a 15 week project, presentation day at the end of it and its worth every credit of semester 2.
So I will be documenting it on this blog, along with a new section of the website (when it gets added). The idea of the new website section will be to give a timeline approach to what I have done, using images. While here I will have the latest news.
On a side note, any bands wanting to take part in the Wedgewood rooms showcase 2010 should inquire now, yours truly will be there taking photographs again, offering them for viewing on this blog and the website. (with a few on flickr, deviantart, facebook, etc.. to spread the word)
Due to unforseen circumstances….i.e. me being totally free for the evening, I attended the DV Mission awards ceremony and I must comment on the quality of the admissions; even though the teams only had 48 hours to create a film it was clear that they had all worked hard and tried their absolute best. Congratulations to all of the winners you all deserved whichever award you recieved; but do not fret if you did not win because just by entering and managing to create a film in 48 hours makes you a winner. Kevin and I were so inspired by what we saw that there is even talk of us entering next year, whether we will has yet to be decided but if we do I can certainly say that we will have to work incredibly hard to produce something even close to those that I saw on the night. Well done to everyone involved and thank you to the organisers for creating such and interesting and fantastic event, I hope to see you next year.
Kelly.
